White Plains, NY (December 2018) The Hudson Gateway REALTOR® Foundation, the charitable arm of the Hudson Gateway Association of REALTORS®, recently presented a check for $5,000 to Community Capital New York based in Hawthorne.
Community Capital New York is a not-for-profit community development loan fund that serves eight counties in the Hudson Valley and Fairfield County, CT. The organization provides loans and technical assistance to borrowers that are not well served by traditional lenders. Community Capital works to use capital creatively to enhance the economic well-being of our communities and those who live in them.

This grant will be particularly helpful to us in the City of Middletown, where we are working with City officials to help realize the promise of the Downtown Revitalization Initiative, “said Kim Jacobs, President & CEO of Community Capital New York. “Middletown was selected in 2016 as the first City in the MidHudson Region to be selected to receive $10 million from NYS to revitalize the downtown area. Community Capital is working with local business and building owners to help renew this terrific City.”
